The fee ranges from $7-$10 weekly depending on the location. The areas of $7 are Herndon, Great Falls, and the $10 area are Alexandria, Sterling. The milk gets delivered directly to your doorstep weekly.

Over The Grass Farm cow share program Family owned and operated, 450 acre diversified farm in The Plains, VA, about one hour west of Washington DC. One “Cow Share” provides 1 gallon of milk per week (2 1/2 gallon jars). The cost of a share is a $40 annual fee (non-refundable), plus $35 per month fee for board, and a one-time charge of $8.00 for the glass containers (we use ½ gallon canning jars with plastic lids).
