The research of nutrition pioneer, Dr. Weston A. Price, studied isolated non-industrialized peoples, established the parameters of human health and determined the optimum characteristics of the human diet. The Weston A. Price Foundation is a non-profit charity founded in 1999 by Sally Fallon and Mary Enig to disseminate Dr. Price’s research. The Foundation and its local chapters are dedicated to restoring nutrient-dense foods to the human diet, both by educating the public and by providing a list of local resources for nutrient-dense foods. The Foundation supports practices such as organic and biodynamic farming, pasture-feeding of livestock and poultry, and community-supported farms.
