Kent Weston A Price Foundation Chapter is interested in promoting the information about traditional foods and health made available by the discoveries of the Weston A Price Foundation. To this aim we have organised several events to educate people about this work. This includes setting up a stall at a farmers market and putting on several conferences where speakers can come and talk about this area of research. If you are interested in supporting us in this work we strongly suggest that you join the Weston A Price Foundation.
The Weston A. Price Foundation is a charity committed to educating people about the nutritional research of Dr. Weston Price, whose studies of isolated, non-industrialised peoples established the parameters of human health and determined the optimum characteristics of human diets. Dr. Price’s research demonstrated that humans achieve robust physical form and great health, generation after generation, only when they consume nutrient-dense whole foods and the fat-soluble vitamins found exclusively in animal fats.
The Foundation is dedicated to restoring nutrient-dense foods to the human diet through education, research and activism. It supports a number of movements that contribute to this objective including accurate nutritional education, organic and bio dynamic farming, pasture-feeding of livestock, community-supported farms, honest and informative labelling, prepared parenting and nurturing therapies.
The Foundation’s quarterly journal, Wise Traditions in Food, Farming, and the Healing Arts, is dedicated to exploring the scientific research of dietary, agricultural and medical traditions throughout the world.
