Napa Chapter of the Weston A. Price Foundation
Welcome to our Community!
This is a place for people interested in food, farming and health. The Weston A. Price Foundation is a nonprofit, tax-exempt nutrition education foundation.
This education embraces the ancient wisdom of traditional cultures as shown by the research of the Weston A. Price Foundation and written about in Sally Fallon’s book, Nourishing Traditions. As a local chapter of the Weston A. Price Foundation we work to connect local farmers with consumers. We provide information on local sources of organic fruits, vegetables, grains, pasture-fed livestock, eggs, dairy products, and how properly prepared foods may be integrated into your life.
Whether you are just starting on your path to healthy living or whether you have followed the dietary principles of the Dr. Weston A. Price for a long time, this is a place to find local resources for nutrient-dense foods, traditional fats, broth, and lacto-fermented foods.
This chapter serves the Napa Valley, as well as the surrounding area where our farmers are located. Hurray for our local farmers!
Meetings and activities are always open to everyone. To be kept up-to-date with current events, potlucks, farm tours, and classes, please join our Yahoo! Group. We hope to see you soon!
Participants are not required to join the Weston Price Foundation, but are strongly encouraged to do so. Membership is $40 per year. This fee provides important financial support for research projects. Membership also includes quarterly issues of the highly informative Wise Traditions journal. If you are not already a member, please consider becoming one.
