As we head into the last month of summer let’s enjoy the delights of a summer garden and share our food stories around the table. One of the best ways to savor the summer is by preserving some of the summer produce. Fermentation is a great way make foods more digestible and nutritious.

- Review the benefits of fermented foods and enjoy a demonstration of making a fermented salsa and homemade mayonnaise.
Come join us for the quarterly meeting. Spend a stimulating evening with others interested in pursuing better health through the nutrition of real, whole foods prepared with traditional methods. Share information about some of the traditional foods resources that are available in our community.
