Winter 2019 Chapter Meeting (free, all are welcome)

As we head into the last month of summer let’s enjoy the delights of a summer garden and share our food stories around the table. One of the best ways to savor the summer is by preserving some of the summer produce. Fermentation is a great way make foods more digestible and nutritious.

Date: Tuesday, February 12, 2019
Time: 7:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M.
Location: Alpine Ranch Chiropractic, 450 Summerhill Court, Alpine, CA 91901

  • View a recording of the keynote speech by Tom Naughton at 2018 Wise Traditions Conference. Speaker Tom Naughton was the producer and star of the comic documentary Fat Head. His speech got a standing ovation!
  • Are all vegetables created equal? Learn about lectins and oxalates, toxins lurking in some of our favorite vegetables.

Come join us for the quarterly meeting. Spend a stimulating evening with others interested in pursuing better health through the nutrition of real, whole foods prepared with traditional methods. Share information about some of the traditional foods resources that are available in our community.

The Weston A. Price Foundation (WAPF) is dedicated to providing basic information about the principles of traditional healthy diets and helping consumers find healthy, local foods.
