This is only a small selection of grass-fed beef available locally. More local farms can be found at\u00a0Eat Wild Colorado<\/a>. Purchasing the whole, half, or quarter animal can save you money; check with farmers about this option, often in late summer\/early autumn when pastures are going dormant.\u00a0This list is provided as a resource; users are encouraged to ask the farmers about the diet and care of their animals.<\/p>\n

Slaughter methods are extremely humane as well.
