This website has been created for the growth and development of the Burnsville, North Carolina, chapter of The Weston A. Price Foundation.
The local chapter leaders are Dan and Medea Galligan. Medea has a Masters of Science in Nutrition, is a Board Certified Holistic Health Coach, and you can learn more about her practice at www.HealthyLifestyleConcepts.com. After many years working in business management and earning his MBA, Dan decided to follow his passion for cooking, and fell in love with waterless cookware. Dan has been giving healthy cooking demonstrations since 2006, and together with Medea developed a website that supports people in adopting a healthy lifestyle through education on quality foods and proper cooking methods (www.HealthyCookingConcepts.com).
Together, as Weston A. Price Foundation Chapter Leaders, members of Slow Food USA, and the Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project (ASAP), Dan and Medea strive to educate their clients about the importance of Quality over Quantity. Dan and Medea are committed to helping people everywhere, and especially in Western North Carolina, find the highest quality, freshest foods available from local and organic sources.
What is good for our local economies, our environment, and the future of our planet is also
what is good for our bodies and souls!
