We have room in this organization for all types of skills and involvement level.<\/p>\n<p>Here are a few examples:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Submit information each month about upcoming events to your Facebook page and to Nevada County Peeps, Local Food Coalition, The Union<\/li>\n<li>Post fliers around town to promote our events, including Briarpatch, California Organics and Natural Solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Contact local radio, KVMR and KNCO and other local groups about our events<\/li>\n<li>Help send out Chapter Emails<\/li>\n<li>Help us arrange topics for next year.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate volunteers<\/li>\n<li>Help with set up and clean up at events, when necessary<\/li>\n<li>Help organize a Community Food Preparation Event<\/li>\n<li>Teach a segment of our classes<\/li>\n<li>Assist during classes<\/li>\n<li>Take notes at meetings<\/li>\n<li>Bring name tags and pens to potlucks &amp; meetings<\/li>\n<li>Write article, newsletter or food feature for our Website and Facebook and email marketing.<\/li>\n<li>Organize DVD showing night<\/li>\n<li>Mentor a new person<\/li>\n<li>Set up and run a text notification system<\/li>\n<li>And more\u2026 If you have other ideas just let us know<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Let us know how you would like to be involved!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Please consider volunteering a little of your time.
