Theme: All About Tallow Soap
Albert Mattheis of Aloe Tallow will talk about the history of animal fats in soap.
Did you know that our skin absorbs everything we put on it? Tallow, especially when it comes from the suet (not interconnective tissue) is nutrient dense in the way that only an animal product can be.
What: Potluck lunch and presentation
Potluck: Nancy is making sourdough bread and a salad.
Potluck suggestions: Cheese and crackers, fruit, veggies and dip, salads, stews, deviled eggs, favorite fermented foods, crispy nuts.
