Price Foundation<\/a> is a non-profit, tax-exempt charity founded in 1999 by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westonaprice.org\/board.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sally Fallon<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westonaprice.org\/board.html\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">Mary Enig<\/a> to disseminate the research of nutrition pioneer Dr. Weston A. Price, whose studies of isolated non-industrialized peoples established the parameters of human health and determined the optimum characteristics of human diet.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Price&#8217;s research demonstrated that humans achieve optimum physical form and health generationaly only when they consume nutrient-dense whole foods and the vital fat-soluble activators found in exclusively in animal fats.<\/p>\n<p>The foundation is dedicated to restoring nutrient-dense foods to the human diet through education, research, and activism. The foundation supports a number of movements that contribute to this objective including accurate nutrition education, organic and biodynamic farming practices, pasture-feeding of livestock, community-supported farms, honest and informative labeling, prepared parenting, and nurturing therapies.<\/p>\n<p>The San Francisco Chapter of the Weston A. Foundation came into being in 2004. The chapter&#8217;s affairs are administered by a volunteer steering committee.
