Then you might consider reaching out to the North Middlesex County\u00a0Chapter of the Weston A. Price Foundation (WAPF)<\/strong>. The Weston A. Price Foundation is a nonprofit charitable organization, co-founded in 1999 by Sally Fallon Morell and nutritionist, Mary G. Enig, PhD, to disseminate the research of nutrition pioneer and dentist, Dr. Weston A. Price (1870-1948), whose studies of isolated, non-industrialized peoples established the parameters of human health and determined the optimum characteristics of human diets.<\/p>\n

The Weston A. Price Foundation is dedicated to restoring nutrient-dense foods to the American diet through education, research and activism<\/strong>. Dr. Weston A. Price, a Cleveland dentist, was deeply interested in finding out the cause of dental problems such as caries, crowded and crooked teeth, malformed facial structure, etc. He traveled the world studying primitive and civilized cultures and found out that the diets between the two populations were vastly different in nutritional content. He found that those people who had healthy mouths (and bodies), had nutrient-dense diets originating from their natural surroundings. Those populations with poor health ate a diet of modern civilization including white flour, white sugar, highly processed, and nutrient-poor foods.<\/p>\n
