We are the San Mateo County (California) chapter of WAPF. We are committed to providing information on sources of pure, unadulterated, healthy food. Living on the resource-blessed San Francisco Peninsula, we are fortunate to have access to many consciously produced products like organic produce, and raw milk and eggs from pasture-fed livestock. It is our goal to bring together like-minded people to share resources, ideas and talents in support of healthful foods and farming.
Our chapter is mostly active on Facebook. You will find information about local classes, talks and events, links to videos and podcasts, and support from and by members. The Facebook group serves as a forum for sharing information, asking questions, having conversations and as hub for local resources. Our vendor resource list as well as other documents are available on Facebook as well as here under Resources.
We also hold potlucks and provide classes on the core principles of nutrient-dense diet choices. We’re always happy to discuss traditional foods and beverages and other WAPF-related topics.
Our next pot-luck will be held Friday, March 17, 2023, in San Mateo. We will be sharing the Wise Traditions 2022 video presentation of respiratory therapist Betsy Thomason, “Dynamic Breathing: Healing Life and Lungs.” To receive an email announcement for this and upcoming chapter events, please send a message of any length using the Contact Us link.
Please contact us with any questions you may have.
