The Yankton chapter of the Weston A. Price Foundation (WAPF) has been meeting regularly since 2007. Local chapters provide information to the community how to obtain and prepare the nutrient dense foods promoted by the WAPF.
Our meetings are held once a month at noon, the first Wednesday of the month. The location is the lower level conference room of the Missouri River Associates building at 124 Walnut. This is the previous site of Farm Credit Services, and it is located just east of the Missouri River walking bridge. These meetings are free and open to the public. Many people can only attend part of the meetings, so feel free to come when you can and leave when you must. Bringing your lunch is absolutely acceptable!
The local chapter provides a resource list of farmers and practitioners that ascribe to the WAPF lifestyle. The resource list has information about nutrient-dense food produced in a non-toxic, nutrient-rich manner, and healing arts that support the body in healing itself. The international, non-profit, parent organization distributes quarterly journals included on their website that promote research, education, and activism.
