Nourishing Connections
is the Dayton chapter of
The Weston A. Price Foundation
The Foundation was founded in 1999 to disseminate the research of nutritional pioneer Weston A. Price, DDS, whose studies of isolated non-industrialized peoples established the parameters of human health and determined the optimum characteristics of human diets. Dr. Price’s research demonstrated that men and women can achieve perfect physical form and health, generation after generation only when they consume nutrient-dense whole foods.
As The Foundation’s local chapter, we are nourishing the connections between our communities, traditional foods, and holistic health care.
We promote community education during the year through chapter meetings, featuring live and video presentations.
We actively maintain resource lists that include:
Local farms where pasture-fed livestock and their products are available,
Area health food stores, Co-ops, Farmers markets,
Organic produce growers, and Holistic health care providers.
