GOLD COUNTRY CHAPTER of the WESTON A. PRICE FOUNDATION®
We are the local chapter of the WESTON A. PRICE FOUNDATION®. The Foundation is dedicated to restoring nutrient-dense foods to the human diet through education, research and activism.
As the local chapter in Nevada City/Grass Valley, California, we carry the Foundation’s mission to Nevada County and the surrounding areas. We help connect people with local farmers producing such foods as raw milk, grass-fed beef and lamb, and pastured poultry and eggs. We actively support the Foundation’s mission of education by holding Nourishing Traditional Foods Cooking Classes, Speakers, Hands On Classes, DVD showings, Potlucks, and Educational Booths at local events. We provide many opportunities for people to meet each other, build community and taste wonderful nutrient-dense food! Please follow us on our Gold Country Chapter WAPF Facebook page.
