Join us on our field trip to Flying Cow Farm in Esparto, CA, Sunday, August 14 from 10 am to noon.
Ewa and Rick Sobilo raise cows on an irrigated pasture using rotation grazing method. Meat is 100% grass-fed, 100%-grass finished with no GMOs and no antibiotics.
The farm is about an hour drive from the Concord area. We will meet and have a picnic after at Esparto Community Park or you can continue on to Capay Valley for other sightseeing opportunities including olive oil tasting and wine tasting. Wear sun protection, long sleeves, pants, and hats. Wear hiking boots or tennis shoes. No sandals. Bring water. (No beef will be for sale but orders can be taken at the event.)
