Sun, Oct 5, 12pm – 3pm PDT
Martha Apaza, aka the Sourdough Whisperer, has invited us to her home in Concord and will be demonstrating how to make Anticuchos Peruvian style grilled beef hearts and other organ delights. The meat will be marinated in a traditional Peruvian sauce featuring Aji panca peppers which lend a mild spicy flavor.
Attendance will be limited to 20 and the cost will be $5 each to cover meat and supplies (please bring exact change). Event address and directions will be provided to those you register through Humanitix. Dress for being outside and the weather that day. Bring a hat and a water bottle.
Afterwards we will be sharing a potluck style meal. Please bring a nutrient dense food to share with the group. Here is a good link for reviewing the WAPF dietary principles: https://www.westonaprice.org/1… Also, bring your own reusable pot-luck plate and eatware. Or you can donate toward these products. And remember to bring a serving utensil for your pot-luck contribution.
Obtain a ticket here to reserve your seat and bring cash to reimburse Martha for meat and supplies. Thank you.
Looking forward to seeing you on Oct. 5th.
