Get Primal with your Fitness

January 15, 2014 by WAPF London

The Weston A. Price Foundation is all about finding the best way to maintain a healthy nutritious lifestyle, and one of the essential aspects is effective fitness and exercise. That is why this year we are pleased to introduce alternate fitness experts Primal Fitness to the Weston A. Price Foundation’s fourth European Conference.

When he isn’t busy bringing the highest quality pasture-raised meat and dairy direct to his customer’s plates through his company, Green Pasture Farms, Simon Whyatt is revolutionising exercise with his alternative outdoor fitness training provider, Primal Fitness.

Dedicated to making fitness both fun and natural, as well as effective, Primal Fitness removes the tedious atmosphere of the gym and replaces it with a natural, sociable, outdoor environment.

Simon and Primal Fitness will be attending the 2014 Weston A. Price Foundation’s European Conference and will be running two workshops across the weekend.

A combination of theory and practical application, the workshop will be split into two parts, with a one-hour session running each day.

Day One: Perfect for those running busy, hectic lives. The focus will be upon brief and intense exercise techniques. Maintaining a healthy, robust body with minimal time and financial commitments.

Day Two:  On the second day focus will be on techniques that reduce stress, boost energy, and improve brain function. The benefits of physical activity is as much for the mind as it is for the body. Introducting playful, fun, and mindul movements will help participants introduce a new intense feeling of well-being into their lives.

Get fit whilst having fun, making new friends and enjoying the world around you!

Places on the workshop can be booked on our website when purchased with delegate tickets.

More information on Primal Fitness can be found on their website and Simon’s health and fitness blog Live Now Thrive Later.

Get Virtuous with Bread

January 11, 2014 by WAPF London

At this year’s Weston A. Price Foundation European Conference we are advising our visitors to flex their kneeding fingers and get involved.

Jane Mason from Virtuous Bread will be providing an interactive sourdough baking workshop both afternoons in small groups of 40 people. We believe, like Jane that if you be kind to your grains and properly prepare them that they will be kind to you.

Jane will also be hosting a talk and discussion, Sunday afternoon, along with members of her Bread Angels network about their experiences setting up and running commercially successful micro bakeries.
Founder of Virtuous Bread Jane Mason has set out to show the world the joy of baking bread. Forging the link between bread and virtue she offers both support to those aiming to set up a bakery business, and both tips and techniques to those simply looking to bring wholesome, healthy, home-cooked bread into their lives.

Jane will be offering fun and easy starter courses in baking your own 100% sourdough bread at this years Weston A. Price Foundation European Conference.

In a hands-on workshop Jane will teach you everything you need to know about creating and keeping a sourdough starter and how it is possible to carry on baking your own sourdough bread around a busy lifestyle.

Expect to be covered head-to-toe in flour, leave with very doughy hands and have lots of fun as you kneed your dough that you can take home to bake after the conference.

The workshops will be repeating once per day. Due to the popularity of the workshop spaces will need to be booked prior to the event with an additional £15 fee.

Places on the workshop can be booked here along with weekend and day tickets to the conference.Visit Jane’s websites for more information on Virtuous Bread bread courses and the Bread Angels network for micro bakery entrepreneurs.

Fall Edition of the Weston A. Price Quarterly Journal: How GMOs are Killing the World

January 4, 2014 by WAPF London

The fall edition of the Weston A. Price quarterly journal is now available here online. This edition of the Weston A. Price journal contains a message from President Sally Fallon Morell, features from Jeffrey Smith and Stephanie Seneff, all of whom are speaking at the Weston A. Price Foundation conference in London, 8-9 February 2014. Join the Foundation to receive the journal in the post quarterly, delivered to your doorstep.

President of Weston A. Price Sally Fallon Morell is proud to announce that this issue moves GMOs and the new science available on the dangers behind its use up from the sidelines and into the forefront. The links between GMO usage and the global increase in disease, digestive disorders, infertility, cancer and behavioural problems like autism have now become evident.

“Even if you are avoiding genetically engineered foods yourself, many of our loved ones still consume them, so we all need to work together to get GMOs out of the food supply.”

Jeffrey Smith examines new evidence which confirms the belief that GMOs are responsible for the promotion of a wide range of diseases that spans across the whole globe. GM corn and soybeans produce a number of toxins not present in non-GMO soy and corn. Both evidence and numerous US physicians point to GMOs as the cause of many global health problems.

“Proponents of GMOs have become more aggressive at suppressing adverse data and promoting their myths, desperate to stem the anti-GMO tide. They continue to proclaim that the technology is precise, environmentally friendly, and needed to feed the world, in spite of evidence that shows just the opposite.”

Stephanie Seneff exposes the lie that Roundup® is harmless to humans. Glyphosate, Roundup’s active ingredient, is demonstrated in a series of studies to be disruptive to the guts of chickens, cows and pigs. Seneff has connected glyphosate to the increase in a number of diseases, obesity and autism over the past 20 years.

“Roundup could plausibly be the most important factor in the observed increase in a number of diseases and conditions like obesity and autism over the past two decades in the U.S… we are doing something wrong, and our wholesale embrace of GMOs is an obvious candidate.”

Both Jeffrey Smith and Stephanie Seneff will be speaking at the Weston A. Price Foundation’s fourth annual European conference, Feb 8-9 2014.
This year puts the event firmly on the map with an impressive new venue at Sandown Park in Esher and vastly expanded programme of talks and workshops. The venue is 20mins from central London with free parking, 10mins from Junction 9 of the M25 and prices are held at 2012 levels.Book early to secure places on workshops, which have limited spaces.

Speakers: John Carter, Sally Fallon Morell, Chris Masterjohn PhD, Janey Lee Grace, Jeffrey Smith MA, David Wetzel, Geoffrey Montague Smith, Beverley Rubik PhD, Dr Natasha Campbell McBride MD, Jane Mason, Maria Tarantino, Philip Weeks, Ben Pratt, Prof. Ton Baars PhD, Jane Levi, Geoffrey Morell, Karen Maidment, Heidi Herrmann, Peter Brown, Stefan Chmelik, Debbie Vernon, Ruth Trealy, James Treador, Stephanie Seneff PhD, Simon Whyatt.
