In the spirit of fun and giving, this month’s event featured a food exchange! Community members brought creative, healthy, tasty food (that was grown or crafted) to share with other foodies. Some offerings: sourdough bread, beet kvass, turmeric paste, liver pate, sauerkraut, pickles, kombucha, homemade cheese, lemons, apples and plums, zucchini bounty, scarlet runner beans, greens and herbs from the garden, sourdough crackers, dairy kefir grains, crispy nuts and jars of jam.
